The ageing population bomb

Another (economically) scary graph on the ageing population. This time from The Economist.

It is not just the low birth rate that causes the problem. In the 60s and 70s the average person in British man would live for a little less than 10 years after retirement. Now the average has increased to nearly twenty years.
